The Heart of Intercession
Adonai International Ministries started from a place of closeness with God. Each decision made, every direction taken, all has been from a place of weakness, knowing that God has the right answers and we do not. 2014 marked the start of a revelation of God's calling for AIM in the place of intercession and worship, and, in May 2015, AIM began its first weekly prayer meetings. Through different seasons, AIM has had times of struggle and victory on a physical level. But, through it all, the heart for more of God's promises and a greater revelation of who He is has grown in strength and given focus during times of deepest darkness.
In the Prayer room
AIM's prayer room is based on the Harp and Bowl model of prayer and worship from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. The model is based out of Revelation 4-5, the terms "harp" and "bowl" coming specifically from Revelation 5:8.
This model helps AIM spend focused time as a family and as a ministry interceding for the location in which AIM works as well as issues and nations around the world. We would not be where we are but for the Grace of God, and we continue to recognize that each day that we serve. Without God's guidance and leadership, we can do nothing, and thus AIM's prayer room represents something more than just a "place to pray" or "the right thing to do"; it represents our awareness of our weakness and our reliance on the direction and movement of the Holy Spirit, without which we would fail.
